House Colours

Today I was very pleased to be able to award two more deserving recipients their House colours. Olivia Peacock has this year built on the great foundation she laid in Y12; she has always contributed well to House sport, carried out her House duties well and although naturally quiet and reserved proven herself more than capable of holding her own on a duty night. Whether it’s running for the House in cross country and athletics, or rowing for the College and House and she has always given of her best in and out of the classroom. James Tolley also joined Everett in Y12 and quickly bought into the House ethos. His duty nights have always been commented on as being one of the best by visiting tutors, this year our trophy cabinet would be bare if it wasn’t for his big contribution in winning the senior cross country, he is often to be found in the gym, not being a big fan of rugby but has always turned out for house events. He would probably be the first to admit that he didn’t always get things quite right in his first months with us, but he has turned things around in and out of the classroom and along with Olivia deserves his House colours, well done to both.
