Senior Football

Senior House Football – Monday afternoon saw the final 3 games of this competition. A slippery pitch and ball caused a few problems, but we kept possession well in all 3 games and created many scoring opportunities. The game against Burr was a thrilling encounter, end to end action and some great shots on goal, a narrow 3-2 loss. The game against Orchard was a torrid affair as the rain spoiled what would have be a good game, again a narrow loss. However we thumped Skipwith with a great team display, Grun, Sanderson and Taylor dominated up front, having been fed some great through balls by Chandler, Madden and Miarli. Rolling subs in the back line and goal meant we kept a clean sheet with Baker, Tse, Mehmet, Everett, Clarke, Bowerin and Markham proving themselves a solid defence. We ran out 6-0 winners and it could have been more but the referee stopped the game early.
