The final round of Junior football took place on Monday afternoon. Again spirited performances and contributions from the majority of pupils in Y9 and 10 ensured an entertaining afternoon was enjoyed by players and spectators alike. After some intensive coaching from Mr Brownley we took to the field against Orchard, despite strong pressure on both wings and good distribution from our centres, we failed to capitalise on the majority of possession and lost 2-0. Despite a well worked goal from Greg Cooke in the next match, Skipwith proved too strong for us and we let our heads drop to lose 4-1. We bounced back in the final game against Burr, a thrilling 2-2 all draw, with goals from Rory O’Conor and Toby Orchard.
