Junior Leader – with the school keen to develop leadership, responsibility and provide opportunities for the pupils to be stretched and challenged; this year the Junior Leader role is being given a higher profile around the school. I have had discussions with the Y10 cohort and asked them for their input and ideas, along with mine, so it can develop into a useful and rewarding part of House life. I hope to give as many of the pupils in Y10 who want to, the opportunity to take on this position, but I am pleased to announce the first Junior Leader for this year is Rory O’Conor. Although a little reluctant at first, he knows that alongside his great contribution to sporting life of the school, there are other areas where he could stretch and improve himself and this role will provide him with that challenge.
