Well done to all the Everett rowers who competed at
Nottingham. Tom Armstrong rowed in the J14 event on Friday, they made it to the
semi finals but tough competition meant they didn’t progress to the final, but
they rowed well. Our J15 rowers did themselves proud, Josh Hirst made the semi
finals in the J15B VIII, Marcus Colao, Austin Burnand, Henry Birdsey and Tom
Mottram came 4th in the J15A VIII final, just missing out on a
medal. Marcus also made the final and again finished fourth in the J15B coxed
quad. Particular congratulations go to those who brought home medals Dom Marsh,
two Silver’s in the 1st VIII’s and Championship coxed IV; and Tom
Mottram Bronze in the J15A coxed quad.
