This afternoon our
Junior team captained by Benjie Tracey, partnering Hugh Rutledge in the 1st
pair, together with Charlie Ward and Josh Towell in the 2nd pair
took to the courts on a hot, sunny afternoon. The matches were played over
shortened format of one set, best of 7 games. This was a close competition with
all Houses fielding good players, but Everett put their stall out with both
pairs winning their first two matches, Benjie and Hugh went on to lose just one match and came second in their event. Josh and Charlie won all their matches, a
great effort. The Orchard pairings had the reverse results, so in the end it
was a tie!
