There has been a lot of
great cricket played by the Everett boys this term, but of particular mention
two boys earned excellence slips for their efforts last Saturday against Bloxham
School. Mr Milburn took a side depleted by injury and unavailability away and
was really pleased with Bill Su who took two wickets in his first ever
competitive cricket match (in his first over, no less) and was on a hat trick
ball. Bilal Akeil formed a solid batting partnership with Kerim from Burr
and contributed excellently to a 35 run stand, with well thought and positive calling and
running. Well done to both.
