Several Everett boys were part of the successful Shiplake RAF CCF team competing with other CCFs in the South Central Region on Sunday. Shiplake came 5th overall and managed to come first in the ‘Command Task’ category and third in the ‘RAF Knowledge’ category. The ‘trophy’ for our first place win can be admired in the trophy cabinet in the Reception.
Dom Marsh will be showing it off in junior assembly tomorrow when he gives a talk on the competition.
The following Everett boys were an important part of the team and Squadron Leader Bridgeman gave a special mention to Will Tse for his outstanding effort on the day.

House Music
Everett took to the stage in the Sports Hall yesterday afternoon and gave a spirited and enthusiastic performance of Jailhouse rock. Jiving, dancing and with some strategic Elvis masks (words on the back!) the whole House sang well. This was followed by Y10 to 13 performing The Lazy Song conducted by Alex Nearchou. Despite excellent guitar playing from Will Tse and Jack Fullerton, accompanied on the drums by Ben Markham, the judges did not place us in the top 3. Still it was great to see the whole House come together.
